Sports & Leisure Midget Football Needs Coaches

Skunk Hollow Sneaker Chase

Summer season on ice

The Caspar Ice Arena will be open Monday through Saturday and will be closed on Sundays until July 31. Public skating sessions will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, and Saturday will remain as frequently set up from 1 to 3 p.m. Skate all the time, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be held on choose days throughout the summer season when special programs are not inhabiting the ice time. The Caspar Skating School will be providing unique shows from June to August. Stroke 5K

Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital hosts its seventh annual Stride Out Stroke 5K Run/Walk at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 7, at Tate Pumphouse, situated along the beautiful Platte River Parkway in Casper. Stride Out Stroke is the healthcare facility s method to honor the many strides stroke survivors have made in their stroke healing. One action at a time, we exist to celebrate with them. Please note a detour will be offered those desiring a shorter course. Runners, walkers, wheelchairs, viewers all are welcome.

Curling classes at ice arena

The Casper Ice Arena and Casper Curling Club will be providing regular monthly Learn-to-Curl classes during June, July and August. These courses will teach the essentials about the sport and correct curling form. Sign up individually or as a team with friend or family.

Camps at 307 Academy

307 Dance Academy provides junior dance, tumbling and drama camps, available to boys and girls ages 3 to 10. These fun-filled camps end with an informal recital to showcase what the campers discovered during the week. Wear dance clothes or comfortable clothes that will allow you to relocate. All camps will occur at the 307 Dance Academy Studio, 225 N. Wolcott. Payment is due at registration. Space is restricted and registering early is recommended. Camp is 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. The cost of every week is $80; register for all six weeks for $450, a savings of $30.
